Anthony Wilton

Partner / Director

Anthony Wilton is currently a Director and Partner at Anthony Wilton, Thinane Inc. He obtained his B Iuris and LLB degrees from the University of South Africa in 1992. Thereafter, he became a prosecutor during which time he gained invaluable litigation experience. In 1994 he was appointed as a Magistrate and served in this capacity for a period of two years.

Anthony completed his articles of clerkship after leaving the Department of Justice and founded Anthony Wilton Attorneys in April 1998. In May 2010, Anthony obtain his LLM degree in Corporate Law from the University of Johannesburg.

Anthony takes great pride in upholding the company values, vision and mission and always leads by example. He is driven by service excellence to provide quality legal services.

Anthony specialises in commercial and company law, surrogacy applications and general litigation matters.

Don Thinane

Partner / Director

Dominic Thinane, or “Don” as his is known, is currently a Director and Partner at Anthony Wilton, Thinane Inc. Don was previously employed as a Court Interpreter from 1964 to 1971. During this time, he was offered an incentive to pursue a legal career as an attorney which he accepted and completed successfully.

Don went on to obtain a B Proc degree in 1976 from the University of the North West and thereafter obtained his LLB degree in 1980 from the University of the Witwatersrand. Don was the founder of D. Thinane Attorneys.

Don has gone on to pursue further studies and completed his LLM degree in Human Rights Law in 1996 from the University of Pretoria.

Don has accumulated several years of experience in litigation during the course of which he developed an affinity for Environmental Law and he subsequently obtained a LLM degree in Environmental Law.

We aim to continuously grow, learn and develop within the legal profession by applying our legal knowledge and constantly keeping abreast of legal developments and changing legislation.
